This Christmas candle comes in a bright yellow and red, a wonderful card for that extra special Christmas greeting. The paper is recycled from waste cotton rags and the design is hand stitched in cotton.
Handmade by disadvantaged women in Bangladesh who would otherwise not be able to find paid work, this card is a fantastic demonstration of traditional skills. When women can work alongside their traditional duties inside the home the whole family benefits, raising their income above subsistence levels.
