These handmade rugs have been crafted using recycled rags and allow some of India's most impoverished to be paid, as well as ensuring textiles don't end up in the landfill. India's rag-pickers or 'raddiwallahs' take the rags to sell to local recycling or scrap centres. Artisans then buy these rags in bulk to make these rugs.
