These rugs made from recycled rags and allow some of India's most impoverished to be paid and ensure textiles don't end up in the landfill. Indias rag-pickers or 'raddiwallahs' take the rags to sell to local recycling or scrap centres. Artisans then buy these rags in bulk to make these rugs.
