These beautiful brass earrings have been ethically handmade in the Kibera Slum, Kenya. Featuring a unique design, incorporating a slim stem leading to the smooth leaf shape, they make a stunning addition to any outfit.
The jewellery workshop in the Kibera Slum, in Nairobi, was set up to allow local young men, who had been living on the street, opportunities for stable work and a chance to learn new skills. The artists were trained not only in the skill of jewellery-making, but also how to manage and run the workshop themselves, enabling them to be self-sufficient in supporting themselves and their families long-term.
