These hand stitched elephant cards are such a lovely way to send greetings. And they're more than just a card! The fabric can be detached and used as a fun patch, a picture... or to make another card.
Calcutta Rescue was set up to help the urban destitute and rural poor and create opportunities for them. Training people in card making and embroidery, and creating work for them, is just a part of what they do. They also provide vital services such as educational centres and free primary healthcare facilities.
The background of the card is turquoise, but the colour of the stitching will vary from card to card.
