This hand made card features a red snowflake on a white background, a wonderful card for that extra special Christmas greeting. The paper is recycled from waste cotton rags and the design is hand stitched in cotton and embellished with sequins.
Handmade by disadvantaged women in Bangladesh who would otherwise not be able to find paid work, this card is a fantastic demonstration of traditional skills. When women can work alongside their traditional duties inside the home the whole family benefits, raising their income above subsistence levels.
