A delightful box in the shape of an chicken and hand painted with flowers. Perfect for hiding a few mini eggs or a special Easter gift.
Papier-mâché was introduced to Kashmir in the 14th Century and became an important traditional art form. In recent years the market for papier-mâché products has been declining and fair trade organisations have stepped in to support craftspeople to keep doing what they do best.
The boxes are made from recycled paper and dried in the Kashmiri sun, giving them a very low environmental impact.
