A simple and classically understated bracelet which has been handmade in Bethlehem from locally sourced olive wood. Each bead is completely different, demonstrating the beautiful qualities of the wood. The olive tree is a symbol of happiness and prosperity in a region which has seen so much conflict.
These bracelets have been made by a Palestinian producer group which is a member of the World Fair Trade Organisation. Making them provides a much needed income when there are so many barriers to finding work.
